Member Webinar – Steeping and Germination Equipment
This is the first of a four-part series diving into the wild world of equipment and craft malt. On February 11, join Brent Manning, Christian Stanley, Dave Thomas and Jaki Hofer in an exploration of steeping and germination equipment. Hear about what has worked and what hasn’t worked from your fellow maltsters, and what they’d do differently.
This session will not be covering the fundamentals of steeping and germination. It assumes that participants will come armed with the basics, and prepared to wrestle with the nitty gritty of making it happen.
Agenda:
Brief Presentations (15 minutes)
--- Christian Stanley, Valley Malt
--- Brent Manning, Riverbend Malt
Feedback from Members – Dave Thomas (10 minutes)
--- What worked
--- What didn’t work
--- What would you do differently?
Q/A moderated by Jaki Hofer, RMS Roller Grinder (35 minutes)
