Each month we'll be hosting a hangout on a variety of topics related to different aspects of the Guild and our collective work.
The July hangout will focus on the increased use of the term "craft malt" in marketing and sales materials coming out from some of the bigger malt houses such as Briess and Malteurop. See for example http://craftmastermalt.com/.
Let's talk about how to address "craft-washing" as a community. What's happening, do we need to be concerned, and how do we develop a strategy to preserve the unique nature of craft malt houses.
